September 2018 - Mr. Montalto (CEO PROMOTECH & GIGANT INDUSTRIES) and Mr. Gelly (Sales director PROMOTECH) visited us in China to see our new facility. During this visit a long-term cooperation contract was signed for marketing and production purposes.

“Last September in Shanghai, Deratech Industries Group and Promotec have signed a cooperation agreement. The pact states that Deratech will manufacture press brakes up to 1250 tons, turret punching machines and combi turret punching / lazer machines, granting the exclusive licensing to Promotec in some countries – most of which concentrated in Europe. For its part, Promotec will manufacture plasma and combined laser-plasma-drilling cutting machines, that Deratech shall sell with exclusive rights in those areas where Promotec is not present.

“This agreement – as Bjorn Rabiot director of Deratech Industries Group explains – is the first step of a wide partnership project. The purpose shared by the two of us, is to offer a complete range of products for the metal sheet working”. Promotec’s sales director Luca Gelli adds: “The central elements of this cooperation are the know-how of the companies, each specialized on the manufacturing of machineries complementary one to the other, and our worldwide sales and service network, together with the excellence of Deratech production structure”.

The parts have decided to retain their own brands, in order to identify clearly their typical features.

The collaboration provides also for the sharing of technical knowledge for the realization of groundbreaking projects, still in the sheet metal working machines industry.”
